Illustrate the history—not the violence.
We welcome original work that helps readers understand a place, era, investigation, or evidentiary concept. We do not publish graphic scenes, perpetrator worship, or imagery that treats victims as props.
We will not publish
- Graphic violence, crime-scene recreations, or unnecessary victim likenesses
- Heroic, glamorous, romantic, or collectible-style offender portraits
- Copied photographs or unlicensed imitations of living artists
- Private information or unsupported accusations

You must own the work and be able to grant permission for publication. Include your preferred credit, a short description, and the case or article it supports. Submission does not guarantee publication.
